It was a successful night at Kyu Kitso Judo club when we hosted our annual friendly competition with Hecra Judo Club. We had forty competitors, with Kyu Kito judo club coming away with 4 golds, 7 silvers and 7 bronze medals. Special mention goes to Kyu Kitso students William White and Jonathan Burey who both came away with "Spirit of Judo" awards. Click here to see more photos from that night.

On Friday 4th March 2016, we will be holding a mini inter-club competition with Hecra Judo Club.
We ran this event last year and it was very popular with the students. Primaries and Juniors please arrive just before the 6pm start, so that we can organise you into groups. As the event normally takes up the whole evening, there will be no teaching sessions on Friday 6th. We attended this competition last year and did very well. This is a very good local competition and perfect for those who have never competed before. If you wish you or your child to attend this year then please speak to any of the coaches after practice.
Even though it is half term this week, all judo sessions will be running as normal this Friday (19/02/16).
So far the website is in testing phase and once I am happy with the layout, I will attach this site to our domain name.
The final judo sessions for 2015 will be on Friday 11th December and we will then be back again on the mat on Friday 8th January 2016!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported Kyu Kitso over the last year from the students to the parents, also to all the coaches who give up their time to teach something they love doing and to those who help off the mat. I hope you all have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! Kyu Kitso was well represented at the Oxfordshire Area Championship in Didcot, with both Daniel and Ayman winning gold, Shoaib collecting silver and Tom a bronze. Well done to all of you. Please note that class times for Primaries and juniors have now been changed.
Primaries class will be shortened by 15 minutes so that it now finished at 7:15pm instead of 7:30pm. Juniors will now start at 7:15pm instead of 7pm and will finish at the usual time of 8:30pm. These changes were made so that we no longer have the primiaries and juniors on the mat at the same time, due to the increased number of students we have. There will be no Judo sessions on Friday 28/08/15 due to holidays, but all Judo sessions (Primaries through to Seniors) will start back again on Friday 4/9/15.
We will have a stall at Hanwell Community Centre's Fun day, on Saturday 15th August 2015, from 11am to 4pm. We will be there to answer any questions you have about Judo or joining our club.
