Team Kyu Kitso once again performed really well. The competition was difficult but all the team members put their heads down and fought their hardest and this paid off in the results. Some of the team were lucky enough to have their medals presented to them by Denise Lewis OBE, who is a British Olympic gold medalist heptathlete. Team results are: Gold

The open national championship is one of the BJC biggest competition as it is not only open to members of the BJC but also to BJA and AJA members, which makes this a great competition to attend. The competition will be held on Sunday 30th April 2017 at Kettering Arena Sports, Thurston Drive, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN15 6PB. Competitors must be at least 8 years old and seniors must be a minimum grade of 4th Kyu (Orange belt). Entry fee is £22 per person and spectators are £3 per person. Closing date for entries is 24th April. If you want to book via Sensei David then you will need to let him know by 7th April as he will be away on holiday after that and back after the closing date for entries.
