This is our most local competition and perfect for those who have never competed before. It will be held on Saturday 18th March 2017 and is open to all age groups and grades. First competition of the new year will be held in Leicester on Saturday 4th February. This competition is open to primaries, juniors and seniors of all grades. The last judo classes of 2016 will be on Friday 16th December. We start back again on Friday 6th January 2017.
From all the coaches at Kyu Kitso Judo club, we would like to thank everyone who has supported the club from the parents to the students. We have had a great year with the club getting bigger and bigger, we have had great competition success and are really looking forward to 2017. We wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!! Due to work commitments there will not be any Primary or Junior classes on Friday 9th December, but they will be back on again Friday 16th for the final Judo classes of 2016!
The senior class will be running as normal this Friday. The Nationals is the biggest and hardest competition in the BJC calendar. Kyu Kitso entered two of our Seniors in the competition, Robert and Abid, but due to illness Robert couldn't make the competition.
Abid fought really well in a difficult group and came away with a 4th place bronze. So well done Abid!! This competition will be on Sunday 20th November, if you want to take part or enter your child in this competition then please speak to any of the coaches after practice. There will be no Judo on Friday 28/10/16 as there will be no instructors around to take classes. We will back again on the following Friday 4/11/16.
Excellent results from Team Kyu Kitso, with 14 fighters all coming back with medals ( 3 Golds, 4 Silvers and 7 bronzes). Well done to everyone who competed. Below are the team results:
